Background[]
- Shiina is a character in the Miyu TV series. Like Larva, Shiina is a shinma that accompanies Miyu in her quest of hunting stray shinma. Up close, Shiina doesn't look that threatening: a cute pink rabbit-like creature that talks. However, the right eye that is covered is actually a hideous, bulging yellow. But this eye has a purpose - it allows Shiina to measure the potential power of a foe that Miyu faces.
Shiina eventually began to make appearances in the manga. In the manga, Miyu once had a stuffed bunny that she also named Shiina. Miyu encounters her when she was trapped in a mirror realm and reliving the moment of her childhood when her pet bird passed away. Unlike in the TV series where Shiina accompanies Miyu at all times, in the manga, she makes more occasional appearances.
